Nothing. The Phillies have still done nothing in the days and hours leading up to the Major League Baseball non waiver trade deadline.
There is no buzz from ESPN, Sports Illustrated, Fox Sports or MLB Trade Rumors about any possible deals involving the Phillies.
I still think they add a lesser known lefty reliever, but nothing to make the team much better.
In other news, Junior Griffey has officially accepted a deal to the Chicago White Sox for two minor leaguers. The Marlins landed Arthur Rhodes and are still in talks with Boston and Pittsburgh to land Manny Ramirez in a three team trade.

Seems like every year a couple deals get made with no noise whatsoever leading up to them. I’m hoping that’s what happens with the Phillies. I don’t want to see Victorino traded, but don’t mind moving some minor league talent if we can get a real starting pitcher. I’d love to see them go after Bengie Molina, since I think it would be an upgrade for us…plus I think the Marlins or Mets otherwise.
