Phillies Re-Sign Lidge
Todd Zolecki of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports that the Phillies have resigned Brad Lidge. Lidge signed a 3 year – $37.5 million deal to remain with the Phillies.

Phillies have Second Best Chance for Sabathia
According to Buster Olney of ESPN, the Phillies may have the second best chanceat landing former Cy Young winner C.C. Sabathia.
The Milwaukee Brewers appear to have the edge, yet may be losing interest in the deal if it means sending their top prospect, Mark LaPorta, to Cleveland.
